I remember back in grade school my teacher was concerned about the size of the trillion dollar debt and she wrote the number trillion out on the black board.
I remember back in grade school we were proud to be a creditor nation.
P.S., and back when I was in grade school I would say my nightly prayers and thank God that I was lucky to be born in the U.S., because even though we were poor, I could grow up and be anything I wanted to be, and free to believe anything I wanted.
My grandkids don’t feel the same way.
