Comparing these models to the latest observations from the WMAP satellite, it had been concluded quite precisely that the Universe contained a mixture of 4% baryonic matter (all of the matter which made up everything we could see in the Universe), 26% dark matter, and 70% dark energy.

In other words:
We (baryonic matter) are the froth on top of the rest of the Universe.
Or the Universe is repeated in form in every glass of beer you drink.
” We (baryonic matter) are the froth on top of the rest of the Universe.”
Yes, I’ve read this before. Somehow I thought that dark matter, dark energy were far away from world, at the edge of the universe or something.
This seems to imply that dark matter is present around us now.
Just wondering if brain function or aspects of our body could be made up of dark matter. Or if there would be anyway to know.

.
That is closer to the heart of the matter than you might think.
