My Uncle lived to be a little over a hundred. He was Mother’s oldest Sisters husband. She was widowed and married him a few years later. She always called him “Mr. Anderson”.
He smoked a pipe just about constantly and he used a very pleasant tobacco which gave off a great aroma. I can’t stand cigarettes but the pipe was different. He also was a great story teller. I remember my Father in particular liked to listen to his stories of the old days.
Since Daddy was born in 1918 we are talking real old days.
He sure does. Dang.
Just so happens I’m sipping on a little whishy stiffend coffee right now.
