This was a very brazen attack. The Muslim terrorists hacked this guy to death in broad daylight, with many other people seeing this happen.
I’m sure this will only embolden them. Why? Because they see that bystanders will not intervene as they commit their atrocities in the name of Allah. We may well see more of this type of attack. If they have no fear of bystanders intervening, they may think they can do anything, anywhere.
And remember these guys don’t care if they get killed anyway. They are dreaming of their 72 virgins which Allah will give them for carrying out Allah’s will.
If the killers hadn’t hung around 20 minutes waiting for the cops, they would have really gotton away with it. Or they could have killed more infidels with everyone else just watching.
Here in our area about 20 CCL holders would have pulled out a weapon and shot them down in the street. Half the state of GA walks around carrying. Of course now that I think about that kind of stuff never happens here. I wonder if there is a correlation? :-)
In places like say, TX, the Muslim terrorist would very much have ended up looking like Swiss cheese, thanks to a CWC person.
And this is why we here in the U.S. should advertise that our CCW hollow-points are filled with lard. They may not fear physical death, but if they know allah (small "a" intentional) will turn from them in disgust . . .
I don't think that's an entirely accurate description of what happened.
As I understand it (and the reporting on what actually happened has been atrocious), the perps ran him over, then jumped out of the car and attacked him. Bystanders not unreasonably thought they were seeing a traffic accident followed by the people in the car trying to help the victim.
By the time people figured out what was happening, it was pretty clear the guy was already most sincerely dead. So jumping into the fight wouldn't save him, and might very well get you killed.
It's one thing to act heroically to try to save the life of someone being attacked, and quite another to defend a corpse at risk of your own life.
I don't know what would have happened had they continued the attack by going after the audience.
I'm not really defending the bystanders, just pointing out that this was not really, or not entirely, a case of people standing by while murder done.
