The shiek is being held in A supermax if i recall. You're thinking of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. He was captured, and held at Gitmo. He was one of the three who was waterboarded.
Sheikh Ayman al-Zawahiri was Bin Laden's general, and, after the alleged death of Bin Laden, the number one leader of AQ. He is still at large.
