President Obama humiliated the marine who he asked to hold his umbrella by making him ‘look like a butler’, a respected military general claimed today. Thomas McInerney, a former United States Air Force Lieutenant General, said that the President showed a ‘lack of respect’ by making the soldier shelter him from a shower. He also said that the President has plenty of aides so did not understand why one of them could not have held the umbrella.

I'll take this as sloppy reporting AND an ignorant editor, rather than an Air Force officer who didn't know the Marines were enlistedmen and not officers.
This looks like what a rap star would do. Come to think of it, Micheal Jackson did this during his trial, showing-off his grand celebrity. Maybe Obama has been hanging around Jay-Z too much. It looks ostentatious.

People forget the Clintons had the military act as servants during WH events and often called to the military dogs even going so far as refusing to ride in the same car as the military.
That homely dog they called a child was the worst at it.

I got news for the General, not only have the Marines and military become butlers and servants for corrupt government, but so have the American people.
Except change the lantern to Uncle Sam’s head, that would be about right.
Both Corporals are NCOs - noncommissioned officers.
