Why would Star Wars fans (which I am) hate Shatner? His ‘get a life’ skit did more damage than all the Empire. If the Emperor ever dies, Shatner will be his replacement.

It might've been the YouTube sparring between Bill and Carrie Fisher (back in 2011, I think). Pretty funny videos, actually. The condensed version: Shatner opined that SW was mostly a kiddie show, while ST was more adult sci-fi. Bill also mentioned that the Trek women were better-looking.
