Today in show business news: NBC is cleaning house while CBS is adding more clutter, including a Robin Williams/Sarah Michelle Gellar show. Yes, you read that right.
More cancellation news from the Peacock as the network gets ready to present its new schedule to advertisers at next week's upfront presentation in New York. Yesterday it was Whitney and 1600 Penn, today it's Matthew Perry's freshman sitcom Go On and Brian Williams's weekly news magazine Rock Center. They are really cleaning house as they do yet another yearly overhaul, hoping that this is the one that works. This leaves The New Normal as the only freshman comedy to survive the 2012-2013 season. Yikes! Not a good year for NBC. But when is it a good year for NBC? I mean they have The Voice and that's a hit, but that's kind of it. Ah well. Better luck next year.

I haven’t watched NBC, ABC and CBS in years, so I won’t miss a thing...
Today, Tonight, Later, Tomorrow, Saturday Night Live, Meet the Depressed
Can news get any better than that?
What’s NBC?
The only NBC show I watch is Celebrity Apprentice and I can easily do without it. NBC hasn’t been relevant in years.
What is an NBC?
My TV hasn’t been turned on in 2 weeks. I haven’t watched a network show in months.
I can’t imagine I am alone in this.
Anyone who would watch them is in jail or prison and has only infomercials as an alternative.
Nope, no one will notice since I think NBC gets about 5 viewers..so those viewers will be devastated LOL
I think the last time I watched anything on NBC was about three years ago when Palin appeared on Jay Leno’s show.
I pretty much divorced myself entirely from ALL the networks several years ago, disgusted with the stomach-churning sleaze and liberal propaganda. Haven’t missed them for a single moment.
Ditto...I have never even heard of these shows...I never watch network tv...especially the “news”...because it’s all propaganda.
The mathew perry show was a stinker.
I saw one show and that was one show too many.
It was a COMEDY about someone getting over the death of a young wife. Lots of laughs there. I guess the writers never heard the quote “dying is easy, comedy is hard”.
LOL! You nailed it!
Nuclear Biological Chemical
That was canceled, as well. Didn't learn anything from J. C. Penney's, I guess.
The one and only NBC show I watch is “Revolution.”
They kept “the new normal” that says a lot there. They still havent llearned. Pathetic.
