I think he’s probably not being really serious. He played it off, at first, what he did.
Just said he helped her out but didn’t really believe it.
I think he had a lot of interviewers saying he was a “hero.”

I don’t see anything wrong with what he said, it was indeed “heroic stuff” as far as I am concerned, and I am sure he is referring to what others have said about what he did. I have seen several interviews with him so far and I can tell he has a great sense of humor and this is just who he is and how he talks. He is not really calling himself a hero as far as I see it.
The man is certainly not what most think of when they think “hero” or “knight in shining armor saving damsel in distress” but I bet he is both to Amanda Berry and the others that were captive in that house.

Saw a snippet of his interview with Anderson Cooper. What I like about Charles Ramsey is that he’s proud to have a job. He showed the world his pay stub and told everyone he didn’t want the reward money. I’m proud to see a guy like him living on the west side. People on Twitter are calling him “poor.” If he were poor, he’d live off of Kinsman and be jobless.
