I think he got his meth problem sorted and was never arrested, but he did rehab. In Cali. So it comes down to does he still have enough clout to overcome the coming demonization. It aint the 80s anymore and Ed lost many fans over the Hagar/Anthony fiasco.

Eddie NEVER did meth. Booze, pot and coke, yeah, but he's been running clean for years now.
Janie's got him squared away now, and he's rockin' with Wolfie and the gang. TG.
He could gain fans and publicity by this by going the way of Ted Nuggent now.
I can see him picking himself back up into the public spotlight by hanging out with Nuggent... maybe going to some NRA rallys with Nuggent.
