The media has pulled off one of the greatest hoaxes on the public of all time. They legitimized and elected us a president who they groomed and coddled for six years in order to turn their programming into a Jerry Springer meets Mike Wallace telethon for the last four years of his term. Obama's only safe harbor from their relentless to come papercuts -n-salt party is to blow shit up, his preference being in the the lands of bible clingers and gun toters.

True. This is the Left's/Democrat Socialist Party's one best shot at replacing our republican form of government with European socialism/communism. They know it -- they want it desperately -- and they will do whatever is necessary to accomplish what has been their dream for the past 100 years.
Their stars are aligned:
-- With the help of educators and the university system they have dumbed down our education system such that most people are ignorant of the history of our republic and are unaware of the horrors of socialism and communism;
-- With the willing assistance of the "opposition party" over the past 40 years they have instilled a culture of dependency -- people see themselves as victims of our free society demanding that government, through regulations, lawsuits, etc., use whatever force necessary to make productive fellow citizens pay for their needs and desires;
-- With the help of the liberal/Left media and Hollywood they have condemned, in the eyes of the uninformed and/or disinterested, any ideas, policies and people who dare challenge their historically-failed idealism and, as Walter Williams observed in today's commentary, have effectively shut down reasoned debate of these issues.
Sadly, the "opposition party" still thinks they can "play nice" with these people ... especially do the party leaders think this way.
