Actually it is not recession proof. My hairdresser was telling me last week that the only thing keeping her even close to what she used to make is weddings. And she hates it. Lol

Alot of small salons are struggling; the Cost Cutters; Great Clip; etc., are recession proof....for the owners...not so much for the stylists. People think nothing of tipping lightly at places like that.
