The assumption being that if he was a Saudi Muslim we WOULD bomb Mecca? Yeah, it already happened that a bunch of (predominantly) Saudi Muslims killed 3,000 Americans - and SOMEHOW we restrained ourselves from bombing Mecca, or going to war with Saudi Arabia (a place that these nutballs thought was far too modern and western).
Instead we went after the nation that gave them direct aid and comfort and REFUSED to cooperate in handing over those who directed the attack (Afghanistan). And while we were at it, settled a few old scores by resuming a war that the belligerent was refusing to abide by the terms of the ceasefire (Iraq).
We went out of our way to say that we were not at war with Islam - and even went so far as to pretend they were a “religion of peace” (Islam means submission, not peace). We even elected a guy with an Islamic name not too long after.
How much credit do we get for all that? Zero. Apparently we are just THIS CLOSE to ignoring the Constitutional rights of Muslims, indiscriminately bombing Mecca and/or whatever sh*thole they come from, targeting their families, and building internment camps!
What kind of twisted mind thinks like this? Perhaps this is the reason why we are where we are at this point in our nation’s history.
Who is the third person killed in the Marathon terrorism? The drive-bys have identified one boy and one woman. According to today’s WSJ, the third is a graduate student at Boston College, but remains unnamed. I’ll bet his name is not Smith.
