Little Jack Hoffman stole the hearts of millions of Gridiron fans when he scored a brilliant touchdown live on TV in America.
The seven-year-old, who has been fighting brain cancer since 2011 and has twice undergone surgery, was the special guest of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and given the special treat of running in a spectacular 69-yard touchdown in the teams annual spring game.
After picking the ball up from quarter-back Taylor Martinez, Jack rose to the cheers of the 60,000 crowd to sprint clear for brilliant score before being engulfed by both sets of players.

Jack, who is currently on a two-week break from a gruelling 60-week chemotherapy regime, said of his touchdown: That was awesome
We think, when you watch the clip, youll agree. Get the hankys ready.
Why do we always have to get this stuff from the UK?
That is precious!
Watch this priceless video PING!
I think it’s awesome.
The fact that I was born and raised in Nebraska, and was a huge Cornhusker fan when I was seven, may or may not have anything to do with how awesome I think it is.
For one day I’ll forgive Nebraska for 62-24.
I know. How do they even know what a touchdown is?
There is no place like Nebraska.
Amen!
I think over there they call it a "Try."
60 weeks of chemo. Tough little guy.
Saw this on Fox News this AM. The hosts had tears in their eyes and voices. How could you not?
Lost my husband (we were together 41 yrs) of brain cancer less than a year ago. Horrible and indescribable. My husband was a Nebraska Cornhusker through and through. I just know he put on angel wings to be the mascot or cheerleader or both for that special boy on that special day. I just saw my husband running every step of the way with that little boy!
Nebraskans I had never known came out of the woodwork for support for us, and are there for me even now. There IS no place like Nebraska.
that was awesome. in every way.
I saw this yesterday on FNC. It was a beautiful sight that brought tears to my eyes. God bless the Cornhuskers!!
Up until now I hadn’t had a “favorite” NCAA team... I think I’ve just found one.
Fizzie you made me cry all over again. I saw this video Saturday and just wanted to hug all those boys. They really got into it and made that moment special. I am sure your husband was right there running with them. God bless you!
I see the Cornhusker defense hasn’t improved much from last season. ;^)
at least he wasn’t wearing Tommy Frazier’s number
I see the Cornhusker defense hasnt improved much from last season. ;^)
...now, now, we’re not supposed to spoil the sentiment of the situation by alluding to unpleasant realities...though I am surprised they didn’t put a Wisconsin uniform on the kid...couldn’t really tell the difference...
...all joking aside(at least the Huskers didn’t give up four TD’s on the opponents first four possessions like my ND in the championship game)great move by NU, and God bless and keep the youngster in his grim battle...
