Its closer to $72 I think. I renewed mine a couple of months ago. But it lasts for 5 years.
Still worth it.
Boy the price has really gone up.
I remember when I first got mine around 1995, I showed up with a bunch of certificates showing I was a firearms instructor, hunter safety instructor, etc. and she didn’t even want to look at them.
I didn’t realize it at the time but they have no discretion, they have to issue it as long as you are not a criminal and got caught to boot. I think I got it in the mail in a week or two.
