Thanks for the pings Perdogg, I've been absent. I'm kinda glad my hearing prevents me from going to the movies anymore. I don't like change and especially don't like all the racial change - it's not by accident.

No you misread the article, plus Bond is not gay. The author suggested Idris Elba was to play “Mr Big” in a remake.

As I understood it, although it’s far off, they are considering Idris Elba as a replacement for Daniel Craig as James Bond. ??

I did go to the article to see who Elba is as I’m not ‘up’ on all these actors.

I’ll admit that I based my ‘gay’ remark on many comments I often see about Craig’s Bond. #17 above reminds me of many I see.

Roger that! Fiennes is a great actor and could have that gig as a sideshow for years just as Judie Dench did. And the kid playing Q could make for a lot of fun. Just when I thought the Bond franchise was dead, they upped the ante and have revitalized it. Gotta say that Daniel Craig as Bond is perfect.

When I watch Fiennes, I still see him as Amon Goth from Schindler’s List.
