No Fine Print

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Missy Sullivan noted that many user agreements, warranties, and disclaimers that come with products are nearly unreadable. Intentionally set in very small type, they actually discourage people from understanding them. Because of this, many people don’t read all the terms of contracts before signing them. A university professor of graphic communication pointed to a 32-page user agreement that came with his new smartphone, and said of the company, “They don’t want you to read it.”

In contrast, the Lord is always seeking to communicate with His people in clear and compelling ways, with no attempt to confuse or deceive. When Moses spoke to the Israelites just before they entered the Promised Land, he said, “For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. . . . I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deut. 30:11,19).

The Lord wants us to understand His plan and purpose clearly, so that we may love, obey, and cling to Him—for He is our “life and the length of [our] days” (v.20). That’s plain to see.

Father, we want to learn and experience more of who
You are in our relationship with You. Teach us so that
we will grow in our understanding of You and
Your plan for our lives.

There is no fine print in God’s communication with us.

Well, today is a new day.

I am trying to dry out the rugs that were on my balcony.

Thank you, ML..I drove around the neighborhood yesterday and saw lots of roses blooming...It was chilly and gray and brightened of my day.

Humans of the world are rebellious at base. It has been demonstrated again and again. Then Satan deceives many with twists and questions on what did
God really mean. How could a loving God cause, pain, have people die, and condemn them to eternal hell?

We know how the world has changed during the last 30 years.
Do we realize it has changed thus since the beginning of Creation? The teaching and the Bibles have been corrupted ... As Martin Luther protested on the door of the Catholic Church. The history is the Christians has been persecuted and is showing its head again in America.

God help us. Be not deceived. Give Worship and Prayers to our Lord. Unless America repents and turns back to God, we will fall. We are in the process now. Forgive us Father, we know not what we do, in Jesus name, amen.

We have to steam clean our ROOFS at least once a year.

Very clear, “LIFE or DEATH”, “BLESSING or CURSING” ...

If we believe this, how is it we ignore it basically in our day to day life?

“It is a choice, choose this day whom thou will serve. Choose LIFE”

Let us be mindful, and read and learn of God to know His commands, and follow the commands, in Jesus name, amen. Thank Thee LORD, for thy Scriptures, thy grace, tender mercy, loving kindness, thy just righteousness, and thy love, in Jesus name amen.

What part of Florida do you live in, Mary Lou? I know I told you that my sister in law moved to Tampa a little over a year ago. Her son and his family have lived there for many years and she decided it would be a good move for her. Of course, she is now in an apartment and she’s glad she doesn’t have a home to care for, like she did when she lived here.

Since she moved down, her other son decided to go there, too. So they are all there now and everyone seems to be enjoying it! I love Florida but have only visited there. My Mom had several brothers and sisters there so we got to visit a lot as I was growing up. They are all gone now but I have great memories of those good years!
