They were lied to. Jack Maskell is a Democrat who works in the Congressional Research Service. He provided false information concerning the definition of ‘Natural born Citizen’ to the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Until I started researching BHO2 during the election of 2008, I never believed in conspiracies. The last five years have really been exhausting but also enlightening.
Our U.S.Constitution is very specific concerning which branch of the Federal government has the power to remove a sitting President.
Only Congress has the power to remove a sitting President. They wisely delegated the power to remove a usurper to the District Court of Washington, D.C., and that is via Quo warranto (where the Federal official must prove he/she is actually eligible to hold office.)
I felt the same way. But with all the nutbag conspiracies out there to even suggest a conspiracy gets you in a straight jacket.
Sadly, I believe that most, and that means majority, of Americans could care less that he is not a natural born citizen. They simply do not care. It is that simple. The don’t care. He gives them free stuff, free money, etc., so they don’t care. He could admit he is a commie loving, muslin praying, antichrist beat, yet they will yawn, and don’t care. I believe that a majority of Americans do not care about America being America any more. That is sad, but that is what I think. Most simply don’t care.
The DOE has seen to that.

I was not talking about removing a sitting President. Rather I was talking about convicting a President for crimes committed before and during his stay in office.
As an example, consider a President who jay walked. Why couldn’t a court convict him? It does not remove him from office and most likely would result in a fine.
Granted, a conviction for felony fraud would be much more severe but it would put pressure on Congress to remove him from office. Even if they did not, would (should) severely damage any measure or attempt to pass an laws or regulations during his last term.
I think the BC is SO BAD for Obama that people’s lives are being threatened.

Sadly, you are exactly correct. If the sheeple really cared, he would have never been on the ticket.
Limiting the discussion of the means of removing a President to those remedies within the jurisdiction of a court, is one way of complying with statutes which exist to protect that office. Examining the actual history of attempts to remove sitting presidents is a more concrete means of taking it from the theoretical to the practical.
Obviously, incapacity or death would activate the succession statutes, but I don’t want to speculate here on what role a private citizen could take to invoke that. (Yesterday was the 32nd anniversary of the last time that occurred).
Resignation would be welcomed, but in our history that hasn’t happened of its own accord. It was preceded by 2 years of factual revelations hyped by negative news coverage. Private citizens did assist that effort in its early stages, until the media and Congress took it over.
A vote for removal, following an impeachment, isn’t likely in this hyper-partisan era where the President’s party has a majority of Senate seats. That was tried and failed in 1998 and in the 1860’s. Same for the president’s cabinet, which has been stacked with loyalists.
So legally we’re left with “failure to qualify” although that’s very likely a moot point without a judge who can and will enforce the constitution as written and interpreted.
Congress didn’t even bother to ask for objections at the last reading of electoral college ballots, and I don’t recall any media outcry at the time, so it appears we’re in a post-constitutional phase of governance where the law is now interpreted to be whatever our “leaders” say it is.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was hounded out of office by baseless charges. She resigned as these charges were bankrupting her and interfering with the fulfillment of her obligation as Governor of the State of Alaska.
The office of the President is protected from such political harangues due to the U.S.Constitution’s requirement that charges against the President be filed through the House of Representatives.
“Article II, section 4: the President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
Can a President be charged with jaywalking? It is highly unlikely a President would be out alone and cruising the streets, though President Clinton was known to visit women, not his wife, in hotels around Washington, D.C. One would assume he didn’t jaywalk on the way to any liaison.
It all has to do with politics and is, I believe, the major reason that SCOTUS is loathe to intervene. That should have been dealt with by the Congress, whose parties are assumed to be honorable.

I hope Judge Moore defines a NBC to be: a POTUS candidate needs to be born of a USA citizen and has citizenship at birth.
This will enable Ted Cruz to run.
The left will go crazy on this, but not be able to effectively counter without damaging BHO’s legacy.

I don’t think he is going to mind making the establishment whine. Many have abetted (on both sides of the aisle) to hide his background - overtly lying and coordinating false responses to the public in an extreme effort to commit treason. They deem themselves above the rule of law. They openly and proudly violate the constitution. The Federal government is too big to fail.
I wonder who at the CIA and FBI, knew Obama’s background and hid it from the public if it turns out he’s committed a crime against the Nation. Watch liberals denounce the constitution and Obama’s Nazis at Homeland Insecurity attack protestors!
