It isn’t the courts jobs to help you fight identity theft. It is police, prosecutors and the legislature. But you are right that it is a big problem, and victims have little help or recourse.

I know.

No one wants the courts to be directly involved in fighting identity fraud. But those who do fight identity theft are forced to operate under the rules set down by the courts and the politicians. The courts in the U.S. have created rules that protect the thieves and fraud operators. They make it extremely difficult to protect the honest citizens.
