Saudi authorities have beheaded a murderer and crucified his body after he killed and raped a Pakistani national.

The kingdom's interior ministry announced the execution, stating that the man had murdered and sodomised another male. Both actions are punishable by death.

In looking at that picture I feel that I’ve seen it before. It looks strangely like a woman who was beheaded a while back for something or other I can’t remember. Think it had something to do with a boyfriend who was not royalty - whatever.

This was a common practice with pirates and other criminals in England and the American Colonies in the 1600 and 1700s. Except that they were drawn and quartererd after hanging and/or beheading instead of crucifying the body.

Someday it's going to occur to these not-too-bright sadists that if they really want to make the guy suffer, they should probably reverse the order. I can think of worse ways to be killed than beheading - death must be within a second or two, hopefully too fast for the brain to register much more than shock.
