Nietzsche, as something of a bridge between nihilism and existentialism is plenty distasteful enough to many, but he should be criticized for what he actually wrote, less so than what other critics might say about him.
I read just about everything he wrote while a college student (decades ago), and Nietzsche as a Nazi meme has about the same truth to it as does, say, GWB hates black people.

Well, I appreciate that. When one is told something all their life, as I was about the “Superman/Ubermensch” connection, it becomes ingrained.
And, of course, you DO realize my “Superman” analysis IS Satire...
