Lots of nuggets in this article.
Still pushing for more gun laws, but shedding some light on what most of us suspected ar already knew
The good news is the people who were killed didn’t have evil guns on them.
At least Mark Kelly has been prevented from getting a gun.
Maybe a drug problem?
"However, I hope that commonsense policies like universal background checks become part of our history, just like the Tucson shootings are our communities will be safer because of it."
Brain dead biotch.
I thought these records were sealed.
Everyone who bumped into this Jared Loughner character knew he was as crazy as an outhouse mouse -- his fellow students, his professors, his college administrators, the school psychiatrists, his own family, and the police department. Those who had to be near him on a day to day basis feared for their safety because Jared Loughner was obviously a dangerous unhinged loon who made violent threats. Nobody did anything useful about their Jared Loughner problem.
Now I'm to understand that the White House and Senate Democrats are convinced that it's ultimately all up to some random Arizona gun store owner to figure everything out about a dangerous loon who isn't in the national background check system -- even if they're an Arizona gun store owner that around the same time as Loughner shot Gabby Giffords was instructed by the Federal Department of Justice to just let guns be purchased by prohibited persons and just 'walk' out of their store because the BATF wanted to see 'where the guns end up'.
... Furthermore, there's no legislation being considered at the Federal level to prompt authorities to add the identities of dangerous loons like Jared Loughner to the 'background check' system. It's all about limiting guns to only being capable of carrying 10 bullets instead of 11?
Do I get this right? Yes, I do.
America, tell Democrats nationwide to shove gun control sideways up their butts. Get on the phone and contact your representatives.
