Totally agree. Regrettably, I missed this game, but in past games police with riot shields had to shield American players as they took corner kicks because Mexican "fans" were throwing cups, bottles and debris at them. Yeah, real sportsmanship.
It was kind of cool to see a significant US contingent attending the game, including a large banner that read “SIEMPRE US” (US forever), being waved by Hispanics and not Anglos. There are some good eggs out there.
