She’s been found not guilty. This high court decision violates the US standard I accept. If you think this “un-acquittal” fair perhaps you should go in her place.
She seemed guilty of the crime to me and I have a good knowledge of the evidence. Her acquittal in my opinion was due to favorable press in this country by the likes of NBC GMA, etc.
She has not a leg of US law to stand on if found guilty again and sent back. I could really care less about her if she is found guilty.
The murdered girl deserves justice and that is the Italian courts job here. I’ll be not disappointed with another guilty verdict.
“This high court decision violates the US standard I accept.”
And as a caution to anyone going to Europe - most of those countries, Italy included, do not have the “innocent until proven guilty” standard. It is the opposite.
The murder wasn't in the U.S.
It was in Italy, and that's their system.
Don't like the local laws, don't go there.

LOL! I like that thought! I’m thinking that the Italian government is searching for a distraction that will take the focus off of their sucky economic situation. A tried and true formula when dealing with those low information aka stupid voters.
