It was a practice run for the death panels.
They treat them horribly now by denying them help, services, etc., county by county because we, as a nation, believe we owe more help to illegals coming in that we do to our own disabled individuals.
This especially goes for early intervention ...our county fought us tooth and nail to deny our son anything more than 1 hour a week of early intervention ...because they were so broke ...educating illegals through ESL and providing them with WIC, housing, assistance with utilities, health, and medicine.
And don’t think for ONE minute any of these “new” Americans will EVER give a crap about this either. As long as they are getting their services ...the disabled will come 2nd, or less.
This is how it goes in other countries . . . the disabled, the infirm, the weakest — go untreated, unhelped. There is no research to help them get better. That is what America was always for ...a place to bring those that needed help.
Now we deny it to our own.
God help us all.
