Yoko Ono Tweets Pic Of John Lennon’s Bloody Glasses

Yoko Ono tweeted a photo of John Lennon’s bloody glasses this week.

Why? Well, she was celebrating her 44th wedding anniversary to the late Beatles singer.

Ono sat down to reflect about Lennon’s life and death this week and she came to the conclusion that there have been far too many gun deaths in the world in the 33 years since Lennon was assassinated.

Ono wrote on Twitter: “Over 1,057,000 people have been killed by guns in the USA since John Lennon was shot and killed on 8 Dec 1980.”

The singer / artist sent out several more messages about gun violence and how it feels to lose a loved one. Ono says that, even though Lennon was killed more than three decades ago, she still feels the pain of his absence.

Ono wrote: “The death of a loved one is a hollowing experience. After 33 years our son Sean and I still miss him. Yoko Ono Lennon.”

Along with her messages, Ono posted a sound clip of Lennon talking about a peace. (You can listen to it below.) But the most talked about item from Yoko’s anniversary tweets was a photo of John Lennon’s bloody glasses.

I stand with Yoko Ono! Far too many innocent people have been killed by guns and not enough dirty hippies. We need to shoot more dirty hippies, not innocent people. Because dirty hippies aren't really people. That is all...

Did she mention in her tweets the millions of people whose lives were saved because they were armed and able to defend themselves?

I give Ono credit for this much: She’s candid about her desire to ban ALL private gun ownership. She’s honest about that, unlike these incrementalists who lie that they they won’t ever ban handguns or shotguns.

Wow. Over one million people killed by “guns.” Does that figure include citizens killed by cops.

Hey Yoko, that's a pretty gruesome memento you have there.

Did she mention Waco, Ruby Ridge, no knock entries at the wrong address, innocent bystanders killed by cops who can’t shoot straight, potential murderers, rapists, thugs, put down by those defending themselves, or innocents killed by murderers, rapist and and thugs of those NOT armed?

She does charge admission for his artwork exhibits that she drags around the world. She loves the fame and cash like all liberal media whores who proclaim they don’t care about the cash.

Yoko’s claimed death number of 1,057,000 sounds high. Does it include self defense? Suidcides? Detroit?

Assuming (incorrectly) a population of about 300M people, it would also be .0001% of the population each year. Not discounting the deaths, but how would such a rate compare to being struck by lighteing? Or being hit by the beer truck crossing the street while reading the email on blackberry?

I guess Yoko feels using tragic deaths to support the gun grab agenda is now acceptable given Harry Reid’s idiotic comments on the Senate floor.

Whatever Yoko, just promise not to sing.

Actually, after reading several biographies on him, he was raised by a rancid b*tch and when push come to shove, it’s what he gravitated to. Sad.

Maybe close to 2/3 of them were suicide. There are other ways of doing that. Probably close to 1/3 homicide - will we ever stop bad people?
