Meh. Is it really “the strongest” or just over-roasted like that StarBucks feces?

Which is probably a tad weaker than Community Dark Roast.

Oh I don't know if that's the strongest. I once attended a weekend long event at the Coast Guard Academy in New London. Waking up early, I wandered into the kitchen in search of a cup of coffee. The cooks directed me to a large tank and I poured myself a cup. Took one sip and lightning bolts flew out of my fingertips and eyeballs.
Those cookies laughed and laughed and then told me that they brew coffee 4X strong and then water it down in order to cut down on the brewing time necessary to serve thousands of cups at a time. The rest of that day was somewhat...electric.

Espresso is weaker than drip. It’s an “urban myth” that espresso is stronger.
In espresso, there is less time where water is contacting the grounds, doing the caffeine extraction than drip. (that’s the espress/express part).
Beans are often washed prior roasting so that must be where this coffee maker preserves caffeine.
But I bet this still tastes like burnt rubber - ala Starbutts.

Double the strength of an espresso Not impressive at all. It's like saying Joe has double the strength of five-year-old Timmy. Espresso is NOT highly caffeinated, but that's the common misconception.

Too bad we have not picked up on the Australian “long black”, a double-shot of espresso hot water. The long black is similar to an Americano, which is made by adding hot water to the espresso shot. However a long black retains the crema and is more strongly flavored.
