Madonna is really truly sad and pathetic and needs to go awat, but she pretty much exemplifies the interesting tendency that female celebrities have that when they no longer have a body, they become shills for various political causes. I don’t recall Madonna sticking her nose into politics in 1988. Or heck, 1957 Bridget Bardot didn’t appear to be interested in Muslims taking over France or animals.
