"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Hi everyone, happy St. Patrick's Day, hope you're well and happy. St. Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland.

I am consuming adult beverages so be forewarned...also, I've never heard of Philco Radio Time or Town Hall Tonight. Should be interesting...

Hey, what happened to the St. Patrick’s picture I posted? Oh, well.

The week was fine; no news. I didn’t do CPAC, except for catching some of the headlines.

I hope you had a smooth week.

Far East Network was a radio (and later radio/TV) system for Americans in Japan in the early years. Google “Far East Network.”
