We still have massive snow banks on most properties. Bare ground is not visible anywhere. The City snow plows “took out” my political signs. I don’t know if it was deliberate, but I have my suspicions. One candidate is for mayor against the incumbant. One candidate is for school board — against an incumbant. And the other sign was in favor of “Keep(ing) Christ in Christmas” that was frozen into the ground so hard that we couldn’t remove it.

I can see city workers “taking out” the signs opposing the mayor and the school board incumbants, but Christ? All I can say is that my candidates are in good company in their sacrifice.

I don’t live in the City by choice. My county has almost zero zoning laws, so I live in the county. The subdivision is about a mile outside the city limits.

We don’t have a homeowner’s association. The restrictions were very few in the purchase contract. No noxious animals(they said that was pigs), dogs on a lease or in a pen, house must be 35 ft back from the road, only 1 outbuilding allowed(any size). House must be at least 1300 sq ft. No mobile homes.

Junk is not prohibited. LOL. That means when your junk out grows your out building, you can just stack it out side anywhere.LOL.

Not that I would do that, but just shows how silly some restrictions can be. LOL.
