There is an absolutely enormous number of people on Planet Earth who simply cannot abide the thought that someone, somewhere, might actually be enjoying life.
If I had a nickel for every time I'd said that.... :-) The CSPI kooks all fall into this particular bucket.
A FR conservative says "I don't like to eat bacon, so I'm not going to eat any.". A DU Liberal says "I don't like to eat bacon, so NOBODY can eat any.". IMHO.
I have bacon or sausage with breakfast when I feel like it. Maybe a couple of times a week. If it shortens my lifespan a little, meh, so what? I'll die happier than if I had eaten nothing but dry oatmeal and bean sprouts.
