Obsessive white guilt is what probably blinds and binds as many “low-information” voters (as labeled by Rush Limbaugh) to this failed regime as much as anything. Many people do not want to even hear of any negative statements about Bronco Bama, and they will go to great lengths to discredit any such attempt.

Were the voters more discerning back in the days when the racial makeup of serving Presidents was largely that of Northern European origin? What caused this failure in critical thinking? And is there a way to reverse it through persuasive argument?

Or does the obsession win?
