You hit a home run with this post. I cannot come up with one positive attribute for Harrisburg. You have to go over the river for good restaurants,shopping, etc. If they moved the capital to another city, Harrisburg would cease to exist. It really is a scab on the map of Pa. and no matter who is elected mayor the results will not be good. They should just turn out the lights, lock the doors and throw away the key.

There are two positive attributes. One, the state capitol building is drop dead gorgeous; arguably the most ornate in the entire country. Two, Harrisburg has municipal boundaries.
