Thanks for posting this pic! Maybe I’ll be successful with tomatoes with this method...nothing else seems to work :(

I plant my tomato's in raised beds filled with composted horse manure and mulch them. That seems to be the only thing that works in my area. I've tried the upside down planters, hydroponics, buckets, pots, and the heat gets them all.
I've seen the technique where the side of the soil bag is cut open and plants are planted. That was working in the Castroville area.
