About 12 minutes into the 10 February Fox News Sunday, Pelosi slips in associating gun control with the First Amendment.

I well remember that day too. I was a Navy brat at Norfolk and that Naval base was hopping. Soon thereafter, fiery explosion flashes off Virginia Beach were a nightly event ... allied convoys assembled out there and German subs were picking them off ... Oil spills galore, from tankers, blanketed area beaches inside and out of Cheseapeake Bay. Later, towards the end of the war, German prisoners of war were held at some local bases to do things like trim the roses (under guard) and talk to kids like me. That sort of explains the large influx of germans to America after the war.

Pelosi is the poster girl for term limits, the ugly truth of career politicians, and a monument to the stupidity of her district and party.
I think it fits - why would they want to silence guns when the Freedom of Speech is so dang sacred. When I carry, there's one in the tube so it is always ready to speak if need be. I've been places where I would have had to unload it, throw the ammo in the river, install a trigger lock, disassembleit, and throw the firing pin away before I could be "legal" while carrying it. Nowadays, a picture of a gun or an imaginary hand grenade get a 4-7 year old tossed out of school. Where's their freedom of speech?
Did anyone catch where she said as far as her “friends in Hollywood”, that she didn’t want to enact any laws that weren’t called for or unnecessary regarding them, but she doesn’t seem to have any problem passing useless, pointless laws that take away our gun rights.
Pass the AWB, and someone will cause just as much murder with another gun, followed by another ban, and on and on, but then it isn’t about just banning one gun is it. It is about banning them all, but they can’t be honest enough to admit that. That involves truth.
the germans were picking off tankers because there wasn’t any convoys along the east coast or the gulf in early ‘42. hell the lights were still on allowing the u-boats to target ships at night. didn’t want to upset the folks by turning them off.

After a bit of thought I believe it was just a typo. The poster must have intended “vs.” rather than “and”.
It would make more sense that way.
She may be dumb as a rock but she is a fantastic mathematician. I clearly recall her accurately telling the world that legislation had to be passed quickly because 300 million Americans were losing their jobs each month!
