Joe did not know about 1998. It would have been ILLEGAL for him to be informed about 1998 - per state law.

The e-mails cited for this conclusion in the freeh report will be exposed tomorrow. A few of them are pretty funny in that if he’d have just asked the right people, they would have had the truth. Lets just say that Jerry Dunn was the basketball coach and in contract negotiations at the time.

js retired in 1998 to take advantage of a pension deal the state was giving. He was then re-hired for the 1999 season as a “consultant” - while really still being the DC.

Oh, it was against the law. Well I that case, we know it didn’t happen, because nothing illegal ever happened at Penn State, right?

Flawless logic. You are a shining example of what people point to when talking about the Penn State excuse train rolling through central PA.
