Manti Teo and Lance Armstrong both started the year with headlines they would just as soon like to forget. Now, they are part of a list just as humbling, as Forbes has published a list of the most disliked American athletes.
...
Heres the final tally:
1.Manti Teo 15% Appeal 2.Lance Armstrong 15% Appeal 3.Tiger Woods 19% Appeal 4.Jay Cutler 21% Appeal 5.Metta World Peace 21% Appeal 6.Alex Rodriguez 22% Appeal 7.Michael Vick 23% Appeal 8.Kurt Busch 27% Appeal 9.Kobe Bryant 27% Appeal
...
One of those names is former Denver Bronco Jay Cutler. The quarterback lost a lot of respect in around his current stomping grounds in Chicago when he was seen walking into a nightclub the same day he was too injured to play in the 2011 NFC Championship game.
It seems even two years later, Cutlers likability has never really recovered.
Similarly, Tiger Woods may never capture the fanbase that deserted him the second he crashed his SUV.

Why Te’o?
He hasn’t done anything............
It is interesting to study public opinion in today’s environment. I would imagine, almost universally, females would respond negatively to Woods because of his issues a few years back. I would imagine men are divided, with a fair number of golf fans who still view him favorably because they opine on Woods as a golfer, not as a person. For Armstrong and T’eo, they are in the midst of their issues, so they rise to the top. Both will probably be way down the list a year from now. Armstrong may have more lasting negatives since he was held in such high esteem by so many for years.
T’eo and Romo are on the list mainly because of the teams they play for.
Because Americans are becoming more and more ignorant of facts.
Interesting how the headline skipped Tiger, but named Culter...
7.Michael Vick I don’t get how people just sweep it to the side that this man tortured and killed animals.
Another one to add to the list is Ray Lewis implicated in the a bar room murder and coverup of a man but people praise the hell out of him.
Lamar Kardashian should be on the list.
Why isn’t Tebow on this list?
I read all the time about how terrible he is, how over-rated, etc. The media just goes on and....wait, I may have answered my own question...Could it be the media hates him, but no one else?
Romo’s on the list for his inability to come through in a crunch.
It would be a hard choice. Be as loved as I am now, with no money, or as hated as Tiger is, with millions of dollars.
That’s a tough one.
I don’t know why this thread reminded me of this:
KAREN: Who is more important to you, her or me? I like you, she doesn’t. Who are you gonna pick?
GEORGE: (he thinks a little about it... and as he puts his hand on his knee and gets up) I’m sorry Karen. I know I care for you, but I just can’t stand when someone doesn’t like me. (he opens the door)
KAREN: Well, now I hate you!
GEORGE: That I’m used to.
“It would be a hard choice. Be as loved as I am now, with no money, or as hated as Tiger is, with millions of dollars.”
I guess that’s why they call it F-you money...
It appears that Terrell Owens has now spent enough time in pro-football Siberia that he has fallen out of the top ten...
LOL true!
Jerry Sandusky doesn’t even make the list?
T’eo is on the list because he’s either a liar or a total fool.
