Lucky you! It’s bizarre - I saw some innocuous looking guy get off at 42nd St and bump into some thuggy looking kid (for those who don’t know, everybody bumps into everybody when they’re getting off the train, because there are people trying to get on before the others have gotten off) who then pursued him and demanded an apology! The guy had actually already said sorry, since New Yorkers are more polite than you’d think. But that wasn’t enough for the inflated ego of this thug.
Fortunately, the guy (a Hispanic who was probably a busboy or waiter) apologized again and by that time the transit police were beginning to notice, so the thug got back on the train.
But these creeps are always ready to explode over nothing.
