40 servicemen from Ellington field are going over there at 1400 hrs to begin repair.

KTRH’s radio talk show host Michael Berry is working fast to help raise donations, starting today, to refurnish Mr. Wood’s home. At least one caller agreed to donate a $5,000 check to the WWII veteran.
Check are still being collected and anyone interested in making a donation is asked to make a check out to Elbert Wood and drop it off by 1:30p.m. at the receptionist desk here at Clear Channel, located at at 2000 West Loop South, Suite 300 (3rd floor) (A on the map below).
Radio talk show host Michael Berry will collect the checks at 1:30p.m. this afternoon to personally deliver the funds to Mr. Wood this afternoon.
