David Takami needs a righteous ass-kicking.

Good move, Feeding them will only teach them to associate people with food. A fed bear is a dead bear.

And attracting them to parks with free feeds causes their population to explode, making the parks unusable for regular people.

What? Independent of if it’s a good idea or not, to feed homeless bums, Government cannot tell people not to feed others.

When Churches do things that diminish a CRISIS, even a small one, then that diminishes the perception of the need for GOVERNMENT to solve the problem.

Lots of hungry people = high social spending.

The gov’t is attacking it’s COMPETITION.

Democrats only care about "the homeless" as a campaign demagoguery prop.

Other than that, they have no use for them, and anybody they have no use for is targeted for destruction.

Mikey Bloom-Turd in NYC did it, last year, since the city couldn’t regulate the salt/fat/fiber/sugar content of the donations:

Schmucks!

It's a little chaotic and it can also lead to wasted food."

Kinda doubt that.

"By requiring that all food be served at the site, Takami said the city can control the nutritional value of what the homeless eat and can prevent litter from being left behind at parks after meals."

Aha! So *that* is what the city was after. I knew there had to be some element of establishing control involved.

I do admit I have very mixed feelings about the project the Mission has been undertaking. In my town, people are encouraged not to give money to homeless folks because it only enables them to continue their lifestyle instead of seeking help to get off the street. At the same time, it is a charitable act to feed others in need (whatever the reason), and I certainly don't think it's any of the city's damned business as to what kind of meal the Mission provides.

I would also not be surprised if the city was in line for some Federal money to start their own gig and didn't want the Mission competing with state services.

Either way, Mr. Takami is a butt-face.

Been to Seattle once on a business trip. My impression/remembrance of the place consists of sh!tty weather and homeless men using the Convention Center as their personal bathroom.

"This has happened in the past where there are a lot of meals served in a short period of time on the same day," he said. "It's a little chaotic and it can also lead to wasted food."

Someone from the government lecturing us about waste?

True charity interfere’s with leftist government vote buying efforts.

Why do you think Obami the Comi is capping your tax deductible charitable contributions?

Takami said the city can control the nutritional value of what the homeless eat...

Why does this person think the government can regulate and control what others eat? What law or statute (which I think would be unconstitutional) is there that says that?

Change the feeding place to in front of the mayor’s house, or city hall.

Make a big deal of the city denying food to hungry and homeless people.

Make sure it gets on the news, Youtube, goes viral.

Put the POS Fascists on the spot.

...the city does not allow groups of people to feed the homeless outdoors without approval.

SHEEP VS GOATS

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

I always hear that charities should step in so the taxpayers aren’t burdened. I guess not.

"It's a little chaotic and it can also lead to wasted food."

Isn't this the same Seattle that was planting fruit and nut trees in those parks, so the homeless could harvest something to eat?
