Even though it came out years later that Chandra was murdered by an illegal alien, I can imagine how Condit’s ordeal put the fear of God into his running buddies. (How many other chicks in this circle are now taking dirt naps?)

If you've heard the two names together it's probably because of the deaths of the two young women, not because the two guys went "tom-catting" together.
Democrats were complaining that Scarborough didn't get into the kind of trouble Condit did, but this is the first I've heard that the two Congressmen were supposed to be buddies.
