I first got interested in it after hearing a radio infomercial about a special D3 formulation the guy was selling. For nine prices, of course.

So I just bought some at Wal*Mart and started taking it every day. It’s very inexpensive. I don’t know why more people don’t take it.

To be honest, I’ve read articles both ways on D3. But I rely on my own experience. Which has been very positive.

I was reading a book on which foods are good to help against various chronic conditions like hypertension. I was looking at having to take additional meds.

So I started eating foods that are known to help reduce the chances of hypertension, stroke, and heart disease. Was able to get BP back to better numbers than for 20 years.

The book also noted the results of vit d3 and colds, flu various other diseases, so I started the supplements. I believe a lot of our health problems are related to poor nutrition.

I have reduced the amount of processed foods in my diet too. Whatever I eat, I try to make sure it has some redeeming value. Like wine and chocolate - a small treat, that is pure indulgence but still is supposed to have a benefit. LOL.
