Nobody gave Atlanta any respect. Let’s see if that’ll change when they beat 49ers.
The model for the NFL prototype QB is changing rapidly.
3 out of 4 were here last year. Not such a good year for parity. But it means I get to root for the Harbaugh Bowl again.
I’ll take both road teams and since the playoffs are now Packer-free I can enjoy them to the fullest.
Right now the Ravens are a team greater than the sum of their parts and if there’s an upset to be found I think they’ll find it.
And Pete Carroll gets my vote for the “Dennis Green Moron Of The Century” award. Not merely for icing the kicker, which is the most overrated ploy in football, but for not taking the points when down 13-0.
On the road — you have to put points on the board. Had he done so, the Falcons have to drive for a touchdown instead of a field goal on their last possession — or the Seahawks might have been ahead on their last possession, in which case the game probably has a different ending.
Well as a Pats Fan I am enjoying this run immensely. The Pats are going to win the SB this year.
The team has been totally rebuilt the past 3 years, they are a much better team this year than last. There are ready for another 3-4 year run like the early 2000’s, depending of course on Brady’s health going forward.
Hard to bet against the Pats at home.
I agree. The Pats should be favored to win.
But don’t discount the power of the retiring legend. Remember the Jerome Bettis Farewell Tour?
As a Steeler fan, I remember that very well. And Jerome damn near blew it in the divisional round at Indy when he fumbled on the goal line and only Big Ben's shoe string tackle and then a missed field goal by one of the best kickers in the league gave the Steelers the win. I remember it very well. I never thought they would make it all the way, but they did.
As a life-long Steeler fan, I should not say this, but I wish all you Ravens fans the same kind of good fortune this week. But if I'm betting on the game, I'd have to go with the Pats.
Good luck. All I'm hoping for is another entertaining game like last week. That was a lot of fun to watch.
