I had one...a Marlin.

It kicked like a mule...after shooting the five rounds, one in the chamber and four in reserve, one doesn’t want to shoot it for a while.

I shucked out 5 rounds of 405gr as fast as i could on some wild dogs.

Got 3 out of 5 of the dogs.

Damn near got me too. Learned my lesson.

I started loading the 350gr after that.

You only shoot one round and act like it didn’t hurt, then hand it to your good buddy to shoot off the rest of ‘em.
