Doesn’t matter, the government will not allow the private sector to create affordable housing. They’ll use building codes or whatever they have to, to ensure that housing remains inherently expensive to serve the obsolete special interests, and to provide a role for the government to subsidize housing.

I remember my dad saying that plastic pipe was against code in Chicago; it's too easy to install, and put the union plumbers out of work.
