Well shoot! It looks like we just missed seeing the second egg hatch! It just hatched a short time ago.

There’s another eagles nest cam in Iowa that I watched last year. By the time these young ‘uns fledge, things should be cranking up at the Iowa nest. http://sportsmansparadiseonline.com/Decorah_Bald_Eagle_Nest.html

The cam is apparently running now because I could hear the highway sounds, but it’s dark. Once the eagles come back, they’ll have it lit up at night, like the FL cam.

Another FUN nest cam to watch is the one set up at Sapsucker Pond at Cornell. It's a Great Blue Heron nest and I have to say I was VERY impressed by the pair of birds who took up abode there. And the young 'uns were hilarious! Someone put together a nice video of the highlights from arrival until the young fledged.

Just a little something more to watch and enjoy this upcoming year. :-)
