I’m aware of that. But it seems odd that you can be penalized now in the NFL regarding an event that never happened.
But the event happened. They were penalized for the celebration, that occurred; the CAUSE of celebration was wiped from the books, but the celebration still happened. Just another reason to follow the Rice rule of act like you’ve been there before, just in case it turns out you weren’t really there this time.
