Normally I would disagree, but tonight was a real failure. I am not shocked to see the redskins win on their own field, but not in this way. I normally defend Romo, but this was a game I am not sure he/they can get over. If not for the third interception, I would feel differently. I have rarely if ever seen a team this ravaged by injuries. Sean Lee out for most of the season. Ware hardly able to play. Spencer hurt, Ractliffe out too on defense. Still they mostly held it together. They gave up some real yardage on the run, but did not break. The offense, after so many weeks of great offense and great QB performance by romo even got past their two early turnovers and had a chance to it in the fourth quarter, and depite the entire WR corp out. Then, the stupid play that turned it over for the third time.

I am not so sure now they shouldn’t scrap the team and rebuild. There are no good QB prospects in this draft, so there is no quick solution. It might be worth trading romo to Arizona or Chicago for a decent pick and sucking it up for a few couple years of bad football until they can draft the next top guys. The problem is the cowboys never rebuild on purpose. They had their down years but it was not for retooling but though bad decisions on coaches and players. I don’t think jones has it in him to dismantle. They’ll keep trying to fix on the fly and stay around 8-8 or 9-7 every season until there is a wholesale change in strategy, or get lucky. .

Maybe they could wait 2-3 years and get Manziel to replace Romo.
