You know, Granny's threads were instrumental in our decision. I was so sad to hear when she passed. She was a good woman, and those threads are just so great. I must have missed when you made the jump. I was going to post over there, too, but haven't yet. Are they still there?

It is a very humbling experience, but we are so much better off. It's great for the kids, too. We ended up in the Kansas countryside; very few rules around here, which is the way we like it.

Yes, Granny passed on over the Christmas Holiday last year. I truly miss her and her thread. Here's what I have saved from the three full threads:

No one has taken the threads over. A fellow called Kartographer has started a survivor (Prepper) thread which has taken on a life of it's own. I wonder if he is aware of Granny's threads... there is much on them that he could use if he had a notion too. I'm pinging him to this one just as an after thought!
