I believe that homosexuality is congenital. There are also many birth defects that are also congenital as well. Why would it be genetic when it ends the genetic line? What possible purpose would that serve the gene pool as it won’t continue the line and therefore not add any more variance?

Yes, I think so too. It is the equivalent of many conditions at birth and the children affected deserve as much love, no matter what is different about the way they were born.
